Overview / Objective
The National Football League seeks a highly experienced, analytical and innovative leader to join the Marketing organization and drive our direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital experiences and streaming service, NFL+. The Director of Product Marketing will execute the long-term brand vision and go-to-market strategy to deliver the business in close partnership with the Business Strategy and Product Development teams. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading collaboratively in cross-functional environments and have a mix of experience driving DTC revenue growth, performance marketing and optimization, and break-through marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for growing subscription businesses, digital marketing, and the NFL.
Responsibilities
- Oversee marketing performance and ongoing optimization to maximize channel and creative impact.
- Drive profound and actionable insights to guide audience, product, commercial, and marketing strategies in collaboration with Research and Data Science teams.
- Collaborate with product, content, marketing channels, and programming to ensure a seamless fan experience across all touchpoints.
- Design and optimize multi-channel marketing plans across Owned & Operated, Paid, and Earned channels.
- Manage a team of product marketing professionals and agency teams to drive effective execution of above and below-the-line marketing campaigns.
- Build GTM strategy and guide cross-functional teams and partners to execute and exceed business and brand targets at quality and on time.
- Deliver the NFL+ long-term brand vision and product roadmap in close partnership with the Business Strategy and Product Development teams.
- Develop brand identity, positioning, and messaging to differentiate and emphasize unique selling points fans seek motivationally and functionally.
- Strong comfort with marketing analytics.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience setting and implementing product marketing strategies with an emphasis on DTC subscription services.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing multiple direct reports and agency partners.
- Proficiency with partner distribution and marketing, particularly with Apple, Google and CTV.
- Experience leading performance marketing and optimizing multi-channel profitability.
- Well-versed in developing audience segmentation to optimize acquisition, engagement, and win-back strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree required, at minimum, from an accredited college or university.
- Able to convey complex issues succinctly with a clear narrative and action agenda.

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- The NFL maintains a Flexible Workplace Policy that provides members of our workforce with opportunities to periodically work from a location of their choice, while maintaining a priority on in-person work at an NFL office, which enables us to more effectively collaborate, connect and build a workplace culture that will drive our continued success.
- NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week with occasional weekend requirements.
