Sr. Director - Digital Platforms

The Sr Director Digital Platforms will provide leadership of Digital platforms and innovation teams creating and enhancing technology products, compelling omni-channel customer facing experiences and technology applications and platforms. Proficiency with business stakeholder collaboration, coordination with IT teams such as product development, architecture, security and infrastructure and navigating various decision points with requirements, technology, budgets and solutions. The Director develops short and long-term plans for applications and platforms, including Google Cloud, and creates roadmaps that deliver services for customers, store associates, and pharmacy team members. They provide vision, offer tactical solutions, anticipate problems, create stability, modernize technology, and possess a superior problem-solving ability. They oversee the implementation of architecture systems and advise top management on the strategic use of technology to accomplish significant business objectives. This Director is the senior partner and strategist with Google, Adobe, Microsoft, and other leading technology providers. The leader is a proponent of agile methodology, encourages innovative tool adoption, and creates overall efficiencies. Under their responsibility are over 1M daily system interactions, which is the conduit of Rite Aid's information technology. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes. Develop short and long-term product, application and platform plans, roadmaps and service. Lead teams delivering and supporting digital cloud platforms; websites and mobile. Lead enterprise architecture solutions standards, conventions, and system configurations. Lead major projects and new digital/enterprise platform development, deployments and migrations. Drive Agile Scrum development methodologies along with agile tool adoption and use. Provide recommendations to improve and optimize interfaces, API’s and micro services. Perform software analysis, risk analysis, and reliability analysis. Drive analysis, design, and implementation plans based upon a current vs. future state model from a holistic architecture viewpoint. Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and digital trends on a continuous basis. Manage direct reports in accordance with company policies in an equal manner that ensures Confidentiality. Lead and mentor staff to improve skillset and career potential.

• Agile/Scrum software development experience with tools such as jira, Azure Dev/Ops, user stories, Kanban boards, fibonacci scoring.
• Micro services and API experience, restful API’s.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Retail store operations, pharmacy operation, supply chain, warehouse, distribution center, contact center applications experience.
• 7 years of experience in Customer facing experience technologies such as websites, eCommerce online stores, mobile applications and omni-channel required.
• 7 years of experience in Software development tools experience with languages such as .Net, C#, PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML required.
• Marketing applications and platforms experience.
• Cloud experience provider experience with providers such as Amazon or Azure; SaaS, Paas and MBaas.
• 7 years of experience in progressive experience in digital product creation, software engineering, or enterprise architecture required.

“The typical starting pay range for this position is between [$150k-$215k], although wages can vary based on experience and geography.”
