Job Description

Job Title: Chief Business Officer

Location: Remote (Open to Travel 70%)


Our client is a specialist Information Technology Service vendor that addresses the requirements for secure, traceable data capture, data transformation, reporting, and processing efficiency within highly regulated industries.


Our Client utilizes the latest digital platforms tightly integrated with the latest security measure across all associated mobile device technologies. The results are convenient, simple, and always intuitive to use. Data capture and reporting efficiencies are enhanced because data captured via secure digital devices are available for validation and analysis immediately as each data packet is completed and uploaded in real-time.


Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Lead the overall sales strategy and business development efforts of the company.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to the company's services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients in alignment with the company's goals and market trends.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for business expansion.
  • Manage a team of account managers and client partners, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure their success in client acquisition and retention.
  • Develop and execute effective sales plans and strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and market dynamics to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity within the sales organization.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the executive team.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make strategic business decisions.
  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within the services industry, preferably with renowned companies like TCS, CTS, HCL, or other reputable services firms.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage sales activities.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a drive for achieving targets.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to build relationships and close deals with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of success in managing client relationships and driving sales growth.


Preferred Qualifications (if any):

  • Experience in managing sales teams across multiple regions or countries.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their potential applications in the services industry.
  • Master's degree in business administration or a related field.


Additional Information (optional):

  • This role reports directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with other members of the executive team.
  • Travel may be required to meet clients and attend industry conferences and events.
