Job Description
Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst with expertise in modern programming practices to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating requirements into user stories. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the Product Owner, Software Architects, Developers, and Quality Assurance, to ensure successful delivery of projects and continuous improvement of our products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to define and refine product backlogs.
  • Facilitate technical interchange meetings to gather requirements and resolve any ambiguities.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify industry trends and best practices.
  • Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories.
  • Elicit, prioritize, and document user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile development environment.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and testing of requirements.
  • Analyze and document current and future state business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform gap analysis and propose solutions to address business needs.
  • Provide ongoing support to the development team by answering questions and clarifying requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Lead the analysis of complex business processes, systems, and requirements.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
  • Must have proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on modern programming practices and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in requirements gathering and documentation techniques.
  • Relevant certifications, such as a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), are a plus.
  • Experience with agile project management tools, such as JIRA or GitLab, is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 12-15 years' of experience or a Master's and 10-13 years' of experience.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software development processes.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
