The Senior Technical Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the business and documenting its systems and processes. This role is senior-level, to ensure that experience will be leveraged to help the business and technical leadership right-size work sequencing with requirements. They will be responsible for creating and capturing requirements, tracking changes, understanding the sequence of work required, identifying risks and issues for escalation, and monitoring and reporting on work and progress. They will serve as intermediary between the technical teams and product owners, outlining the needs of the business, ensuring the software or system is designed, developed, and delivered to meet those needs. This role will require strong technical expertise, to foresee problems in work sequence, conflicting business requirements, and will be able to articulate these conflicting needs to leadership, and help plan to streamline workloads as a result. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as liaison between the technical team and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translates business requirements into technical specifications, maintains relationships with the business, and drives standard business processes across engineering, and other key stakeholders, such as Data, Legal, Info Security, Restaurant Engineering/Operations.
• Communicate requirements and functional specifications to product engineering teams
• Performs analysis for applications and partner with product owners and product managers to understand business objectives and roadmap of products. Analysis will include sequencing requirements in a way to optimize efficiencies of product outcomes.
• Analyze and document current technology stacks
• Produce reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to stakeholders

What we expect from you

• Education: HS Diploma required, Bachelors Degree preferred
• Experience creating detailed requirements and presentations
• Proven team player who works well with both technical and non-technical resources
• Candidate must be comfortable with multitasking across several projects and managing several stakeholders at any given time
• Advanced technical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, technical program management or project manager role, or equivalent work experience

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.* The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance. Director and above roles are also eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive award program.
