Data Analyst / Digital Assets

We are actively searching for a Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this position you will focus on researching emerging financial assets, conducting in depth data analysis, and creating content on your findings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about financial investments and have interest in diving into the world of digital assets. A strong background in research and data analysis is a must. We are a small start-up, so the ability to function as a self-starter is important.

Your Rhythm:

• Use Python and SQL to collect, clean, and analyze large datasets.
• Design and implement tools and processes to support our research efforts.
• Identify current gaps and work with stakeholders to onboard new data sets.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on financial assets.
• Provide data-driven insights for our internal team and external clients.
• Collaborate with other members of the team to author insightful, long-form research reports.
• Facilitate communication across teams and products to assure data alignment.
• Design and implement tools and processes to support our research efforts.
• Provide support to external client’s on how to use our platform and utilize our dashboards.

Your Vibe:

• Ability to communicate with clients and identify areas of opportunity.
• Expertise is research and data analysis.
• 3-6 years experience analyzing financial assets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, interpreting financial statements, and exposure to quantitative financial analysis.
• Interest in working for a fast-paced start-up.
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Ability to relay findings in a succinct, concise manner with the ability to identify key industry performance indicators, players, and trendsetters.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
