Description

The Business Development Assistant supports members of our business development and sales team by performing an array of administrative and clerical duties as well as special activities as described. The Business Development Assistant will provide support for the business development and sales teams, as well as the Regional Advisory Directors.

The Business Development Assistant Will

• Handling travel arrangements
• Receive and distribute incoming mail, memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and distribute as required
• Provide efficiencies and organization to daily schedules and tasks
• Preparing for and coordinating meetings
• Travel for business related purposes up to 20% of the time.
• Arrange department events, off-site meetings and dinners. Collaborate with others to coordinate company events.
• Prepare draft responses and in some instances directly respond to correspondence containing routine inquiries
• Receive incoming calls, as designated
• File and retrieve documents.
• Proofread documentation, correspondence, etc
• Facilitate time with team members
• Maintaining and reconciling monthly expense reports
• Take notes and meeting minutes, as requested
• Prepare or confirm agendas and logistics in advance for various meetings, including but not limited to individual and group meetings.
• Provide support with presentations and web meetings

Qualifications

Our Business Development Assistant requires the following:

• A team player with a positive attitude and able to work well with internal and external clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Strong MS Office Suite skills
• Must be located in Rockford, IL; Chicago, IL; or Middleton, WI Areas or within a commutable distance to a Savant location
• Ability to travel for business related purposes
• 5-7 years progressive experience in similar roles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial services experience preferred
• Must be organized, attentive to detail, able to multitask with strong problem resolution skills.
• Associate’s Degree Preferred.
