Atkins North America, Inc. seeks Sr. Engineer I (Water Resources Engineer) in Tampa, FL: Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work; Perform preliminary engineering design and review the design and drafting work of junior staff; Prepare cost and man-hour estimates, job budgets and schedules; Prepare or oversee the preparation of final plans and reports and submit them for approval; Conduct or oversee personnel involved in engineering investigations and planning work; Plan, schedule, and conduct or coordinate construction services; and, Assist in the management of projects. Requirements: Master's degree in Engineering (Environmental or Civil) and two (2) years of experience in the job offered. Knowledge of: The fundamentals of engineering processes and their application to operating systems; Hydraulic and Hydrologic analyses of bridges and culverts; AutoCAD, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8, TR-55, Inroads, Autodesk Hydraflow, Auto- desk Storm Sewers, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Professional Engineering license required. May be assigned to unanticipated work locations throu- ghout the United States.
