Associate - Finance Accountant, Compliance & Operations

Funds: Manage the quarterly and annual accounting and financial reporting of the Company’s investment Funds; Ensure that all investor and other reporting obligations are completed; Ensure the accuracy of the Funds’ books and records; Prepare and review capital call and distribution notices and calculations; Review the Funds’ expenses; and Assist with the Funds’ annual audit processes; Management Company: Assist in ensuring that the Company’s books and records are kept accurately; Assist with the regular accounting and financial reporting of the Company; and Assist with updating and enhancing Company reporting and monitoring tools; Compliance: Assist with administering the Company’s compliance program; Participate in the Company’s annual Mock Audit; Assist with conducting compliance trainings for the entire firm; and Assist with maintaining proper documentation and records.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related degree. Two (2) years’ related experience as an Accountant or in a related occupation. Two years of experience working in Private Equity as an Accountant or in a related occupation engaged in accounting and financial services for the company’s investment funds and for a company, and assisting with a company’s compliance program, including training. In addition, all applicants must have two years of experience (that can be concurrent with F.b.4a.) :with private equity waterfalls, fund structures, management fee calculations and capital activity processes, including reviewing capital call and distribution calculations and notices; reviewing fund financial statements and workpapers; reviewing investment valuation materials; preparing or reviewing audit confirmation requests; working for a public accounting firm on audits of private equity funds that report consistent with U.S. G.A.A.P.; and reviewing and interpreting legal documents applicable to the private equity funds industry.
