Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in a night shift role. The
ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US
GAAP) and demonstrate exceptional expertise in QuickBooks. The Night Shift Accountant will be
responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing
various accounting functions to support our organization's financial operations. This is an excellent

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording all financial transactions in
compliance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash
flow statements.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate
payments and collections.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies, and take
appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making
processes.
• Prepare and submit various financial reports, schedules, and analyses to management as
required.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and insights.
• Conduct regular audits of financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance with internal
controls and US GAAP.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices to ensure
compliance and improve efficiency.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, as necessary.
• Utilize QuickBooks to perform various accounting tasks, including data entry, report generation,
and reconciliations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve accounting issues or discrepancies in QuickBooks promptly.
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize QuickBooks functionality and implement process
improvements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of US GAAP principles and their application in financial
reporting.
• Proven experience working with QuickBooks enterprise edition, with excellent hands-on
proficiency.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as an Accountant, preferably in a similar night shift
role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Proficient in using MS Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well in a dynamic environment.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Working Schedule:
The accountant will be working during the EST hours, typically from 6:30 PM to 15:30 PM [IST], 05 days
