Accountant - Amr Jobs

We are looking for an Accountant to join us in our New York City office. You will be a key finance representative for the AMR entity along with making important contributions to the wider Finance function.

Oxford Nanopore employs from multiple subject areas including nanopore science, molecular biology and applications, informatics, engineering, electronics, manufacturing and commercialization.

The management team, led by CEO Dr. Gordon Sanghera, has a track record of delivering disruptive technologies to the market. Oxford Nanopore's sequencing platform is the only technology that offers real-time analysis (for rapid insights), in fully scalable formats from pocket to population scale, that can analyze native DNA or RNA and sequence any length of fragment to achieve short to ultra-long read lengths.

Key Responsibilities Of This Role Include

• Preparing transfer pricing calculations for Oxford Nanopore Technologies Inc;
• Sales Tax Exemption validation, approval and upload to the company's tax engine;
• Ownership of the US entities indirect and direct tax obligations with a remit to develop the associated processes.
• Accounts payable & receivable support where necessary;
• Assisting with the preparation of the management accounts for the US entity;
• Making quarterly federal and state corporate income tax payments;
• Preparation and filing of US Sales Tax returns and associated reconciliations;
• Maintaining records of tax authority correspondence;

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
• 3 + years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA preferred, not required.

The salary for this role is between $67,533 and $101,300 USD. The salary offered will reflect the skills and experience of the candidate.

Certain roles within ONT are eligible annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
