  • 3 years experience in development, support, and administration of human capital management and people solutions applications to include system development and configuration, interface development, process improvement and automation, report writing, upgrading and patching, and data analysis/manipulation. Technical experience should also include T-SQL, PL/SQL, Landmark Pattern Language, Infor Process Designer, WorkForce Policy Editor, Infor ION, Infor Birst, Crystal Reports, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and MS Access. Experience with Infor HR Talent and/or WorkForce Time & Attendance is preferred.
  • Design, develop, implement, and enhance the HCM solutions to support strategic business objectives
  • Recommend and implement innovative solutions that drive efficiencies and process improvement
  • Develop custom interfaces, programs, scripts, and process flows utilizing tools and materials consisting of, but not limited to, Infor Configuration Console, Infor Process Designer, Infor ION, WorkForce Policy Editor, SSMS, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Participate as a Developer and SME in HCM related project implementations
  • Creative problem solving utilizing application and development expertise
  • Develop custom reports and ad-hoc queries utilizing tools and materials consisting of, but not limited to, SQL, Infor Birst, Crystal Reports, SSRS, MS Access
  • Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, managers, and end users to configure, customize, leverage, and optimize the HCM solutions
  • Serve as the technical point of contact supporting HCM areas in Infor and WorkForce Software, including core HR, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, time & attendance, performance management, employee relations, etc

DOTComm is located in Omaha, NE. The work location is flexible and open to fully remote, hybrid, or onsite preferences.



POSITION SUMMARY


The primary focus of this position is development, support, and administration of the human capital management and people solutions applications (i.e. core HR, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, time & attendance, performance management, employee relations, etc.). Incumbents in this role will provide technical assistance to customers in the development, support, and administration of these applications which will include developing and maintaining interfaces, programs, scripts, and process flows, developing custom reports and ad-hoc queries, security provisioning, upgrading, and patching. Incumbents work independently under general direction and handle problems and non-routine situations by determining the approach or action to take and interpreting guidelines, procedures, policies and practices.

  • Utilize service management tools to track and document incidents, service requests and project work ensuring that tickets are responded to with designated SLA. Facilitate discussion about prioritization of service requests ensuring customer priorities are addressed.

  • Prepare business requirements analysis, design documents, maintenance documentation, and other technical documents. Document, design and configure business processes and workflows using designated application tools.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact supporting HCM areas in Infor and WorkForce Software, including core HR, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, time & attendance, performance management, employee relations, etc
  • Participate as a Developer and SME in HCM related project implementations
  • Participate and coordinate (i.e. review, test, plan, communicate and implement) in application upgrades, patches, fixes, and other enhancements. Responsible for consistent communication with Human Resources, Finance and DOTComm regarding all application changes or maintenance.
  • Responsible for provisioning access and security to applications, databases, network resources and identity management integration in order to provide functionality and security. Communicate and coordinate access through DOTComm network services.
  • Develop custom interfaces, programs, scripts, and process flows utilizing tools and materials consisting of, but not limited to, Infor Configuration Console, Infor Process Designer, Infor ION, WorkForce Policy Editor, SSMS, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Provide operational support for applications including, but not limited to, research and problems resolution of unexpected results or process flaws. Serve as technical expert and frontline support to members of the Human Resources and Finance departments, employees using self-service portal and candidates that utilize the talent acquisition application. Perform scheduled activities and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Design, develop, implement, and enhance the HCM solutions to support strategic business objectives
  • Assist and participate in the development of user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Assist with training employees and new system users on new processes/functionality.
  • Creative problem solving utilizing application and development expertise
  • Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, managers, and end users to configure, customize, leverage, and optimize the HCM solutions
  • Provide support and assistance in the processing of payrolls to include executing jobs and troubleshooting issues
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Skills & Abilities


Education


Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, human resources, business administration, or equivalent.


Experience


3 years experience in development, support, and administration of human capital management and people solutions applications to include system development and configuration, interface development, process improvement and automation, report writing, upgrading and patching, and data analysis/manipulation. Technical experience should also include T-SQL, PL/SQL, Landmark Pattern Language, Infor Process Designer, WorkForce Policy Editor, Infor ION, Infor Birst, Crystal Reports, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and MS Access. Experience with Infor HR Talent and/or WorkForce Time & Attendance is preferred.


Also open to new grads for this role and they will provide training.


Computer Skills


Knowledge of and the ability to use various software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, e-mail, operating systems, presentation applications and publishing applications. The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as copier and fax machines.


Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
