About The Role

The Workday Integration Specialist serves as a technical point of contact for assigned Workday integrations projects, including solution design, technical documentation, implementation and production support. The Specialist will provide design, build, testing and support of our internal and external Workday integrations with third party global payroll and benefit providers, integration configurable security, business processes and custom report development (including BIRT).

Working collaboratively with partners across HR and Finance, related business groups, and our Technology partners, the Specialist will deliver solutions in a thoughtful, thorough and consultative manner.

As a subject matter expert, the Workday Integration Specialist will be responsible for staying up to date with best practices and Workday enhancements and roadmap. The job includes building strong partnerships with stakeholders, colleagues at all levels, inside and outside the Solutions Development team as well as collaborating with other data experts across the organization.

What You'll Do Here

• Contribute to the data optimization plan and deliver continuous improvement to Altasciences data integration solutions, through the application of data management best practices in combination with data technology.
• Participate in all stages of a project implementation (planning, business requirement analysis, fit-gap, design, functional
• Work with the internal IT teams to gather enterprise level requirements for integrations.
• Engage with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and then translate into design document for Workday integration build, deployment, and support.
• Provide ongoing support for Workday Integrations, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Specifications, configuration/programming, integration and functional testing into production, stabilization.
• Assesses and analyses integration requirements, current state environment and technology platforms to define and propose solution that meets functional integration needs across the Workday eco-system.
• Identifies technical issues and risks and defines mitigation approaches working closely with delivery and operations teams.
• Manage the user access requests as required
• Coordinate testing activities.
• Work with third party suppliers to deliver strategic benefits to the organization.
• Stay current with Workday updates and new features and advise clients on how to take advantage of them.
• Build integration solutions ensuring successful deployment using various integration product technologies/tools and services.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• 6+ years of Software Development experience
• Keen eye for detail and organization
• Workday certification's in one or more modules including integrations.
• Experience monitoring and maintaining interfaces between Workday and internal/external vendor systems
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to interact with business partners at all levels of the organization to collect and document integration requirements
• 4+ years of experience developing XML, XSD, and XSLT transformations
• 4+ years of experience developing Workday inbound and outbound Integrations
• Experience working with Workday Financial, HCM, Benefits, Compensation and Talent Management modules
• 4+ years of experience developing Workday EIBs, Core Connectors, RaaS and Web Services and working with Workday Studio
• Eager and enthusiastic to learn and adopt new skills
• Excellent customer service and ability to work collaboratively with others
• 4+ years of experience developing Workday custom reports, dashboards and calculated fields
• Ability to work effectively and independently in geographically dispersed cross-functional teams
