The Vice President of Marketing, oversees marketing strategies, investments, and efforts to help strengthen, scale and grow Thrivework’s market position while achieving the desired business goals. The VP manages a team of marketers, including in-house SEO/GBP, Paid Search, Social and Content, and collaborates closely with B2B, Payors, Product, Business Operations, and Clinical Operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with B2B to direct and support requirements for Content creation, marketing campaigns to increase utilization with employers, Marketing pitch material, and collaborate to build out new PCP referral programs
  • Support new OKR centered on Client journey improvements, through team allocation against Star ratings, NPS, and content related to journey touchpoints.
  • Build long-term relationships with other leaders in the company – ensuring we win together as opposed to in silos.
  • Lead development of the annual marketing plan in line with the new OKR company-wide approach. Lead the team to deliver Quarterly Key Results (KRs) in support of the annual OKR goals.
  • Bring can-do attitude to work every day.
  • Launch and maintain new brand standards and ensure compliance across all Clinician and Client touchpoints, leveraging the new Brand House and identity as the starting point. Partner closely with Product on new brand introduction online and offline.
  • Manage, mentor, and coach a high-performing marketing team to succeed and to motivate high employee engagement, leveraging the Great Place to Work survey results for improvement, as well as adhoc eNPS surveys.
  • Create new reporting in partnership with Business Operations – to drive more transparency and accountability across the marketing team. Deliver monthly Marketing Business Results write-up, as well as Quarterly.
  • Launch a new ‘Home clinician’ initiative, focused on turning un-profitable Centers profitable through a new approach to local and community. As part of this initiative, stand up reputation management at the local level and partner with B2B to leverage PCP referrals within the community.
  • Work closely with Clinical recruitment to direct and support Paid Media and Content improvements to meet clinical recruitment goals every week. Focus includes funnel management and improvement, creation of Clinician Marketing programs to encompas nurture campaigns, creation of leads for recruiters, and developing and improving central content including scripts, pitches, ads, website updates, while reporting on results.
  • Drive the implementation of SEO/GBP and cross-functional launch programs that build local relevance and findability for centers, while ramping to profitability within six months. Initially focus centers around existing site relaunch.
  • Manage the marketing budget and expenditures in line with goals.
  • Drive the implementation of targeted marketing campaigns, ensuring positive ROI through careful Channel mix management, in a market where demand outpaces supply.
  • Represent Marketing within the Growth Leadership Team at a weekly and adhoc basis. Attend the annual offsite for the wider leadership team.
Background:
  • Data driven and masters reporting in excel and powerpoint, as well as Google slides.
  • Technically and digitally fit – delivering excellence in campaign creation and launch marketing while building processes that can scale
  • 10 + years of marketing experience, managing people and having operated at the VP level.
  • Experience in content creation and management of an annual publishing schedule- ideally within a health care environment.
  • MBA or similar qualifications a plus.
  • Personally able to be hands on with both Google, GA4 and SEO/GBP – mastering both areas, and can demonstrate results from either.
  • Experience in brand management and website overhauls, optimization and resets
  • Experience to oversee a group of people across Content, Visual marketing, SEO, Branding Engaging leader, who builds, motivates and grows her/his team to outperform the norm
  • Business experience at both the national level, and the local level, delivering online and offline bookings / sales. Ideally with experience from a retail mindset.
  • Growth marketing experience with both Direct to Consumer and with B2B. Demonstrating results in both areas.
  • Growth mindset, demonstrating examples of accelerated growth.
