Vp Of Operations Jobs

Our client is looking for a do-it-all attitude energetic VP from a manufacturing & engineering background and below would be the pre-requisites.

Create and maintain a strong operations team, recruit and develop talent as needed, and provide growth opportunities to team members that meet their potential. Establish and execute effective succession plans, with a strong focus on near-term succession needs, and optimize organizational structure as required. Monitor and review relevant metrics and those who influence performance, and oversee all production departments, production scheduling, and manufacturing engineering, as well as warehousing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related curriculum

15+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 7+ years in the role of Operations Manager or Continuous Improvement Manager, or both.

Excellent knowledge and track record of success in leading lean manufacturing programs and creating a lean culture

Strong management skills, with a tendency to be action-oriented and accountable for results, and be able to prioritize and allocate resources to long-term objectives.

Six Sigma training or certifications are required.

Physical Demands:

Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.

Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.

Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
