Our client, a leading provider of comprehensive learning solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead their sales and marketing teams and drive growth for the Company. Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans that drive revenue growth and brand awareness and increase market share. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing sales and marketing teams and a passion for improving student outcomes through innovative technology solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops and implements comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and brand awareness for our client
• Manages and leads teams of sales and marketing professionals to achieve Company revenue goals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
• Builds and maintains relationships with educators, administrators, and other key stakeholders, partners, and industry influencers
• Collaborates with product development team to identify new product opportunities and provide input on product enhancements
• Defines and executes go-to-market plans for new products and services
• Analyzes market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to develop product and service offerings in career and technical education (CTE)
• Oversees the development of marketing and promotional materials, including print and digital advertising, email campaigns, and social media content that effectively communicate the value of our client’s products to educators and students
• Develops and manages budgets for sales and marketing activities
• Coordinates with internal teams to ensure that sales and marketing initiatives are aligned with Company goals
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and marketing efforts
• Creates and delivers presentations to customers, partners, and other stakeholders
• Performs other additional duties as assigned or required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
• 10+ years of broad experience in several of the following areas with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role: direct sales, new business development, marketing, strategic planning, sales management, or communications
• Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in career and technology education
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
• Occasional travel up to 10% of the time may be required
