Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for VP Distribution & Logistics.

• Supervising shipping and transport of goods from their location to the destinations where they will be sold and used.
• Overseeing the inventory, distribution, and transportation activities .
• Developing and assisting in the planning and creation of the distribution strategic vision and implementation
• Building a team and a culture from scratch
• Assisting in the development and/or implementation of internal systems and business processes.
• The VP of Distribution & Logistics is responsible for directing and planning all aspects of greenfield distribution center startup facility, policies, and objectives. You will oversee the design, layout, staffing, people development, inventory, distribution, assembly, and transportation activities. You will also be responsible for overseeing 2 distribution centers (USA and Mexico). Other duties include overseeing the development of the budget, reviewing the operating performance with quality, cost, and service metrics, and collaborating with quality, customer service, and sales departments to maintain the consistency of supply and demand objectives.
• Ensuring quantities of goods are delivered safely and on time
• Designing the development of short and long-range projects to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Distribution Department.
