Position Summary

This position will be responsible for managing the Information technology Business Systems Group including the administration of systems and the maintenance of current software release schedules. The candidate will also oversee future product strategies from inception to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure existing systems perform according to standards, facilitating the trouble shooting process to resolve issues
• Liaise with business stakeholders to understand business objectives and needs
• Knowledge of digital trends to improve platform road mapping and identifying investment opportunities
• Manage technology vendor relationships to maximize value from investments and solutions
• Develop and analyze enterprise analytics using Power BI or other similar platforms
• Participate in the Data Strategy and governance including the definition of data lakes connected to our Data Warehouse
• Collaborate with IT functional leads and all relevant business stakeholders to understand needs and business strategy
• Ability to implement a DevOps approach with the Infrastructure team
• Continuously improve platform offerings, ranging from functional, to technical, to user experience enhancements
• Capable of articulating a modern technology systems architecture using APIs, containers, and micro services
• Determine allocation of support staff resources to best enable business objectives
• Oversee supportability considerations of new and existing systems
• Promote communication and positive working relationships
• Ability to define a product vision, strategy, and roadmap and lead platform investment discussions

Qualifications

• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships
• Functional experience with object-oriented design patterns
• Experience leading requirements gathering and design sessions and fostering successful partnerships with business customers
• Experience with Scheduling and Capacity Management systems design and implementation
• Experience building applications with Azure Cloud
• Experience working within the Microsoft development stack, and relational databases including SQL Server
• Experience working with Agile scrum implementation methodology using Azure DevOps
• 10 years of experience in Information Systems application development or related
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
• Experience with integrations, capturing webhook and API data using Azure Cloud
