Position Title: VP of Brand Partnerships

BistroCat is the world's first (and only!) fully-automated wet cat food feeder. Consumers know that their cats need a wet diet to thrive, but feeding a wet meal can be messy, frustrating, and inconvenient. BistroCat alleviates this pain with our self-cleaning food dispenser that is easily controlled through the BistroCat app. Pet parents can protect their cat's health, while protecting their time, by keeping their cats full and hydrated, even while they're away. BistroCat is partnering with some of the industry's favorite wet cat food brands, so consumers can continue feeding their fur babies the trusted food they love best.
BistroCat is looking for a motivated VP of Brand Partnerships who has a passion for improving the lives of cats and their owners. A successful VP of Brand Partnerships knows how to manage all aspects of sales operations. She/He is excellent at communicating and forming relationships, has an entrepreneurial mindset, and stays current with the latest pet trends. Our ideal candidate is adaptable and not afraid to challenge the status quo. The main requirement of this job is to nurture existing brand partnerships, hunt and develop new partnerships, and ensure sales revenues meet or exceed goals to keep BistroCat and our partners profitable.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive profitable growth and ensure we are identifying new revenue channels
- Understand changing market conditions and create actionable growth strategies with our brand partners
- Produce sales forecasts and reporting metrics to measure brand performance
- Grow our brand partner portfolio and manage on-boarding
- Create and maintain a brand partnership budget
- Resolve critical client issues
- Plan and execute programs to build awareness and equity for BistroCat’s brand partners
- Anticipate trends and partner with the marketing and operational teams to establish strategic plans as leader of senior management team
- Read people and situations accurately and maneuver well to get things done
- Create a culture of high-performance, continuous improvement, innovation, and high levels of team member engagement with a consumer centric mindset
- Cultivate existing and new relationships to demonstrate the value that BistroCat can provide to brands and consumers
- Effectively partner with brands to understand their business needs and develop solutions that deliver financial results and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Problem solver with deep relationship management skills
- Minimum of 3 years in the pet industryor strong connections to pet food brands
- Cat Lover!
- Analytical skills to evaluate data and use it to make decisions
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing
- Motivational and influential
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience
- Strong organizational skills and strategic planning
- Experience building sales forecasts and reports to analyze health of the business
- Understanding of market trends and adaptability to follow those trends
