Job Description

Company Background:

Homestyle Direct (HSD) provides home-delivered meals to Medicaid recipients in 25 states. The company was founded in 1997 and is based in Twin Falls, ID. Jeff Barteau, the newly appointed CEO of HSD is accelerating the founder’s vision of offering nutritional food and superior service to impact people’s lives. Homestyle is rapidly growing and profitable. Annual sales in 2022 were approximately $26 million. HSD received a growth capital investment from Harkness Capital Partners (NY-based private equity firm) to provide additional capital and resources to support HSD’s continued rapid expansion.


Role Description:

The Director of Healthcare partnerships (DHP) will lead sales efforts in the Northeast region of the U.S. The primary goal of the DHP will be to drive new members to Homestyle Direct via relationship selling in the Medicaid and Medicare space. The DHP will collaborate with our internal sales and operational cross functional teams to provide our partners with top notch service and keep members satisfied with our product and service. This person will own the strategy and execution to drive new members and ultimately revenue for Homestyle Direct. The ideal candidate will have sales experience, specifically in the healthcare Medicaid/Medicare space.


Responsibilities:

· Identify the appropriate decision makers and referral partners in the given territory. Build relationships and drive behavior change through constant communication. The goal is to drive referrals for meal plans to Homestyle Direct.

· Schedule and execute in-service meetings with our healthcare partners to drive business forward. In service meetings are also held in virtual settings when applicable.

· Attend industry trade shows and conferences to build brand awareness and find new opportunities for Homestyle Direct to drive new members and revenue.

· Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities and potential members.

· Generate and submit sales reports as needed to Homestyle Direct leadership.

· Utilize Homestyle Directs CRM tool to keep organized and strategically segment partners.

· Recommend marketing strategies to target partners, regions, or demographics.

· Create content and update all social media platforms such as: such as: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and monitor comments and messages.

· Develop case manager follow-up emails from conference lists, update and maintain data in CRM with new contacts.


Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Sales experience in the healthcare industry. Prior experience selling into Medicaid and/or Medicare organizations is a plus.

· Knowledge of the healthcare industry with high business acumen.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Ability to travel in the assigned region.

· Microsoft suite proficiency and CRM experience.

· BS in business or related field. Years of experience will be considered.


Preferred Skills:

Entrepreneurial, creative, commercial, strong team player, comfort in a small business with rapid growth.

This is a remote position that will require 50-75% travel availability.
