THE POSITION
We are seeking a VP, Corporate Communications to build and lead a best-in-class corporate communications program for RGP. Reporting directly to the SVP, Corporate Marketing & Communications, you will drive both internal and external communication strategies and will ensure all communications represent the RGP brand in a positive way.
This includes:
- Building collaborative working relationships both internally and externally
- Building a global public relations program, in partnership with a 3rd party, with a focus on educating media outlets of the value and POV that RGP provides
- Developing and executing highly effective and innovative employee communications programming across our diverse employee groups
OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE
- Serve as RGP’s communications lead for crisis communications in partnership with other business units and the SVP, Corporate Market & Communications
- Drive strong results by developing and managing robust dashboards and status reports with metrics and milestones
- Lead targeted thought leadership campaigns in collaboration with the VP, Thought Leadership & Content and internal business units
- Cultivate and lead a high performing group of 3rd party professionals in developing and executing innovative global communication strategies and programs that achieve best-in-class results
- Facilitate and develop messaging platforms that drive earned and paid media coverage along with social media engagement
- In conjunction with the SVP of Corporate Marketing and Communications, provide strategy and counsel to the CEO and senior executives on all areas of communication
- Build and drive a highly effective media relations and reputation management strategy
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
- Strong executive presence
- Experience in professional services highly desired
- Agile and nimble with an ability to thrive in a transformative environment
- Exceptional storytelling and writing skills
- Clear, decisive communicator with an ability to prioritize and delegate projects
- Careful attention to detail
- Public Company experience required
- Proven experience working with and providing strategic counsel and training to senior executives
- Highly collaborative interpersonal skills with an ability to influence others
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university; Master’s degree preferred
- Ability to distill and assimilate a high volume of information into clear messaging strategies
- Experience building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing 3rd party team
- Global experience required
- Self-directed problem solver, collaborator and curious, creative thinker
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of innovative corporate communications best practices
- 15+ years’ experience in global corporate communications leadership roles
Compensation and Benefits Information :
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase plan, Professional development program, 28 days/hours of Paid Time Off per year, 8 Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required)
- Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation
- Base Pay Range: $150,720 - $188,400
- All Compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market and operational factors.
