What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Senior Manager of Brand & Communications, reporting into the SVP Global Marketing & Growth, you will be the steward of our brand identity. You’ll be responsible for guiding the development, evolution and distribution of our brand vision, voice, tone and image. You will elevate Emodo’s brand awareness and affinity through innovative earned and owned programs and executions. You’ll own our internal and external messaging and communications and will spearhead the strategy behind Emodo’s events, PR, and social media.
- Plan, develop and execute co-marketing for strategic collaborations and brand partnerships.
- Drive and maintain a cohesive social media strategy creating proactive content/storytelling, increasing engagement, and generating more followers.
- Spearhead brand creative and work with design to develop assets/best practices for use on our properties and across the organization (branded systems, templates, signatures, graphics, animations, video, audio).
- Manage industry event sponsorship strategy, including our own hosted events and webinars. Build and maintain event ROI reporting.
- Collaborate with teams including product marketing, growth marketing and sales to ensure cross-functional alignment as you execute high impact brand awareness campaigns and programs.
- Own content marketing strategy and calendar to develop premium content, thought leadership and brand initiatives.
- Develop creative ways to strategically grow Emodo’s share of voice on key channels, increase overall brand awareness, and deliver a seamless brand experience across all touchpoints.
- Oversee public relations efforts, including management and optimization of PR agency relationship, development of press releases, bylines and awards submissions.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of proven experience building and executing brand marketing and communications strategies.
- BA/BS degree required
- Skilled collaborator, comfortable interfacing across various teams and roles.
- Experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments.
- Self-starter, willing to work on high level strategy or in the trenches with the team, and is proactive, resourceful, innovative and creative.
- Deeply skilled at project management and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing, copyediting, content marketing.
- Experience in AdTech or Programmatic, specifically at a DSP, SSP or Exchange a major bonus.
- Understanding of how to bring compelling brand stories to life through multiple channels to a variety of audiences/personas.
