JP. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management Finance and Business Management has a new opening for a Finance Lead based in New York. This position will report directly to the Head of Finance and Business Management for Global Equities. The Global Equities Finance and Business Management team partners closely with the Global Equities business on developing and delivering key strategies and priorities and supporting the day to day operations of the business.

As a the Finance Lead for the Global Equities Finance and Business Management team, you will operate as a strategic partner to influence outcomes for the business and challenge performance. You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the business and be accountable for core financial discipline, and organizational health.

Job responsibilities:

• Execute analytical ad-hoc requests and support various stakeholders
• Collaborate with functional partners including Business Management, Global Technology, and Finance teams to achieve business objectives
• Participate in the month-end close process with the broader finance team and research/resolve data issues
• Lead internal reviews and assessments across the organization to determine business and financial choices
• Analyze financials to understand business drivers and identify opportunities to improve
• Navigate, interpret and analyze data sets and prepare insightful presentations for business reviews and senior management meetings

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Able to handle complex initiatives in a global environment
• Experience in presenting priorities, initiatives and updates to senior management
• 8-10 years working experience preferred
• Experience in strategic planning, issue resolution and negotiation
• Ability to prioritize across multiple deliverables concurrently and execute within deadlines
• An interest in financial analysis and management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
