Job Summary:
The Vice President of Solution Strategy is a new position on the leadership team who will play a pivotal role in driving the ongoing product strategy for FEI’s Blue Compass suite of solutions. This leader will understand current and future market drivers in FEI’s core market and potential adjacencies. The Vice President of Solution Strategy will conduct ongoing industry analyses, organize feedback from internal and external stakeholders and clients, and develop business case studies to ensure the product roadmap is ideally prioritized to empower FEI to profitably meet market and industry needs. The successful candidate will be a leader who has an in-depth understanding of the health and human services industry who can leverage their expertise and knowledge to design, implement, and execute sustainable business growth through innovative strategic plans.
Job Duties:
*Drive FEI’s strategy to advance product innovations focused on population health management, Whole Person Care (WPC) and Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), with the overall goal of improving health outcomes for individuals served by our solutions
- Drive strategic product / solution development initiatives focused on enterprise care / case management offerings
- Support additional strategic initiatives to extend FEI’s care / case management solutions into the integrated care market
- Apply clinical knowledge to integrate business requirements into workflows, creating efficiencies in the work process for care managers
- Continually improve domain knowledge, maintaining a thorough and comprehensive understanding of regulations, policies and procedures related to Government Healthcare and MCO’s
*Lead the solutions team of industry subject matter experts to gather industry and competitive intelligence to guide strategic product direction.
*Support the product development lifecycle
- Assist the product development team by participating in client discussions, requirements analysis, design, and testing.
- Interact with Systems teams during the software build and/or configuration process and testing process.
*Establish and lead client advisory council to seek structured product feedback from clients and other external stakeholders.
- Interact with business users to understand new business requirements and enhancement opportunities
- Lead liaison activities between client users and internal IT groups
*Actively support business development, sales, and marketing to help FEI gain market share.
*Maintain an inclusive team culture of growth and development by assisting with training, mentoring and coaching staff.
Job Requirements
*Thorough and broad understanding of Care Management Workflows and Medicaid/Medicare expert level knowledge
*Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with, or contributing to the development of, Enterprise Case Management (ECM), Integrated Care Management (ICM), SDOH, and/or WPC-centric applications
*Experience collaborating with product development teams to contribute to the requirements, design and testing of clinical and care-focused features of the overall solution
*Background as an RN or advanced certification preferred
*Highly adaptable work style; will be amenable to operating under stated guidelines and standards
*Possesses senior level functional knowledge of care management technology.
General Skills & Requirements
*10+ years product management and/or leadership experience in government-funded health and human services markets
*Experience working with IT Systems and the ability to take clinical workflows and map them to system requirements
*Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
*Work independently and with strong personal desire for success
*Demonstrates strong critical thinking and expresses ideas clearly, and concisely
*Excellent interpersonal, oral/presentation and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical language
*Ability to present 'business advantages' clearly
*Creative problem solving & conflict resolution
*Ability to plan, manage time, make decisions, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy and attention to detail
*Strong organizational skills, need to be able to prioritize in a multi-task environment
