Vice President Finance (Virtual Care)

• Must be willing to travel to HQ in Massachusetts for meetings quarterly

Our client, a highly accomplished start up in the neurodegenerative disease space is looking for a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Finance to lead the financial operations and drive financial growth. As a key member of the executive team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing financial strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's objectives.

What experiences you bring:

Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to drive growth and profitability.

Oversee and manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.

Provide strategic financial recommendations to the executive team and board of directors to support decision-making.

Lead financial modeling, analysis, and due diligence for potential investments, partnerships, and acquisitions.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and tax obligations.

Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, auditors, and legal advisors.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging financial technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Proven experience as a Finance Director, VP of Finance, or a similar leadership role within a high-growth technology company, preferably in the telehealth industry.

Strong understanding of value based care

Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.

Previous experience with fundraisings

Track record of driving financial growth, optimizing costs, and enhancing profitability.

Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Proficient in financial modeling and analysis.

Excellent leadership and people management skills.

Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
