We are partnered with a rapidly growing diagnostics organisation bringing high value diagnostic tests to market in areas such as infectious disease, cancer, and neurological diseases. The company uses a point-of-care technology, alternative to traditional methods providing accurate and convenient diagnostic solutions.
The company is looking for a sale driven Director/Vice President Sales of the US. In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and commercial success of their innovative platform with a proven track record of selling to laboratories, specifically reference laboratories. Additionally, you should possess the ability to sell to consumers, leveraging your expertise to cultivate executive relationships across the US.
Responsibilities:
- Forge and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders in the laboratory medicine industry, including laboratory directors, physicians, and C-suite executives.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy based on input from Strategic Marketing, Senior Management Team, and R&D.
- Drive sales revenue objectives, consistently exceeding targets and demonstrating a solid history of over-performance.
- Collaborate closely with the Strategic Marketing team to identify market opportunities, develop compelling value propositions, and create targeted sales strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of sales initiatives, including marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer support activities.
Requirements:
- In-depth industry knowledge of clinical laboratory services, laboratory diagnostics, or related sciences.
- Strong existing network and relationships with laboratory professionals, reference laboratories, and key decision-makers in the US.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business (or related field), or equivalent work experience required. MBA preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- 5-10 years of experience in Diagnostics Business Development, preferably within the laboratory medicine sector.
