Job Description

Overview

Bellwether Corporate Advisory is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vice President to join our growing team. As a VP, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients, leading engagements and guiding organizations through complex operational challenges. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies that optimize operational performance and drive business growth. A key part of the role will also be contributing to the growth and institutionalization of the corporate advisory team by building internal processes and capabilities.


Bellwether’s Corporate Advisory practice serves private and public companies, providing tailored advisory solutions for diverse organizational landscapes. We serve as thought partners to our clients in many capacities including value creation and across the M&A lifecycle. Focusing on growth strategy, transformations, transactions, recovery and turnarounds, Bellwether Corporate Advisory executes the fundamental changes necessary to create and sustain value.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of client operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
  • Monitor performance and development of direct reports and provide constructive and timely feedback and coaching;
  • Work with direct reports to set individual goals and deadlines and conduct regular performance reviews aligned with performance review process; and
  • Cultivate strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor, demonstrating expertise and delivering value-added insights.
  • Coach and mentor junior consultants, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Involved with staff selection, interviewing and training as needed;
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging best practices in operations management.
  • Handle discipline of employees in accordance with company policy
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the day-to-day workload and performance of direct reports, providing clear direction and support as needed to achieve work objectives;
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • People Management Responsibilities
  • Ensure that direct reports understand their duties and delegated tasks;
  • Lead end-to-end client engagements, including diagnosing operational challenges, designing solutions, and overseeing implementation.


Professional Experience:


  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the consulting field.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to deliver persuasive presentations to clients and senior executives.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improve client outcomes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in operations consulting or a similar role.


Education/Certification


  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field, such as Operations Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.

Travel Requirements


Frequent domestic travel will be required for prospect and client meetings, approximately 100% of the time. Limited international travel is anticipated at this time.

  • Must be able to talk, hear and use wrists, hands and/or fingers frequently and repetitively to operate a computer, telephone and other office productivity machinery.

Compensation & Benefits


Compensation range: $150,000 to $200,000, plus discretionary bonus.


Offered salary is based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and qualifications for the role. Other compensation includes a discretionary bonus.
