Dick Clark Productions is the world’s largest producer and proprietor of televised live event entertainment programming with the“Academy of Country Music Awards,”“American Music Awards,”“Billboard Music Awards,”“Golden Globe Awards,”“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” and the“Streamy Awards.” Television programming includes“So You Think You Can Dance” from 19 Entertainment and DCP. DCP also owns one of the world’s most extensive and unique entertainment archive libraries with more than 60 years of award-winning shows, historic programs, specials, performances and legendary programming. Penske Media Eldridge (PME) announced its acquisition of Dick Clark Productions January of 2023, the live events and alternative media producer, as part of a larger strategic alliance with Eldridge augmenting its existing partnership with Penske Media’s (PMC’s) entertainment media brands and SXSW. PME is a PMC subsidiary and joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge.


The Role:


TheVice President, Brand Partnerships, is responsible for actively developing revenue, in a sales capacity, across dick clark productionsproperties, inclusive of: The Golden Globes, Academy of Country Music Awards, The Billboard Music Awards, The Streamys, American Music Awards and New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.As an active member of the DCP brand and partnerships team, the VP will drive top line growth throughcustomer base, as well as growth revenue from existing clients, to achieve revenue goals.


This individual will be a key contributor on the Sponsorships and Brand Partnerships team, focused on sales initiatives and management, contract retention, financial growth objectives, and to grow business with existing accounts, as well as expanding the team’s client and customer base. The VPis responsible for maintaining and strengthening DCP's relationships with distribution partners and expected to play a key role in helping shape the overall growth strategy for driving partnership revenue and profits relating the sponsors, advertisers, locations and venues. The rolereportsto the Senior Vice President of Partnerships and is located in Beverly Hills.


Primary Responsibilities:


Client Partnership Development and Account Management:


  • Actively pursue revenue from new and existing clients, to achieve annual, and event revenue goals, with a focus on sales
  • Establish relationships with key decision makers for client and marketing/media agencies
  • Establish and maintain relationships with client personnel
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to define and implement go-to-market strategy, within select categories
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Plan, execute, and track existing contract renewals
  • Work closely with dick clark productions' Managementteamto develop business pipeline, and execute client/partnership deals
  • Lead major contract negotiations


Basic Qualifications:


  • Deep and established relationships with Eastern and Western regionclients and agencies.
  • Experience in negotiating multi-platform, multi-year deals
  • Minimum 4 year college degree
  • 10+ years of experience in content partnershipssales, business development, and account management, in the music industry, live event entertainment, tentpoles, or unscripted television, strongly preferred

  • Ability to drive revenue
  • Excellent relationship management skills a must
  • Ability to listen and develop strategic go-to-markets plans
  • Solution selling experience
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones


Typical wage range: $160k - $180k + commission. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
