The VP, Air Product Experience will be responsible for delivering a thoughtful, best in class experience that exceeds customer expectations to lead conversions in path. This exciting new role will be a one stop shop for driving strategy, new product development and enhancements as well as test and learn initiatives to inform UX/UI plans. The VP, Air Product Experience will leverage industry insights, as well as partner and business needs, to develop and manage a “roadmap” of initiatives over time. The position sits in the Chase Travel organization of Connected Commerce, which is a key business within Chase's Consumer & Community Banking group.
This person will own the end to end customer experience within the air booking path. This includes leading the development and delivery of a future state product strategy based on a deep understanding of how the business works, gauging the landscape, leveraging consumer insights and bringing forward “game changing” new functionality and capabilities that will set us apart from the competition. The candidate will manage the air product roadmap and work closely with internal and external partners to prioritize and sequence accordingly. They will use data to propel behavior and action – testing, production validation, monitoring of key metrics and making course corrections as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Possess product management experience in conceptualizing, planning and building through to implementation across cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Have the ability to build and leverage relationships and work across a multitude of teams to gain results
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Be comfortable in navigating through ambiguity and change
- Balance short-term needs, while not losing sight of the longer-term strategic vision
- Have the ability to create solutions to customer-based problems and insights
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity/Experience with Agile build methodologies preferred
- 7+ years of work experience in product development and/or product marketing required
- Experience in travel required
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
