Vice President Operations Jobs

Our client is looking for a strong leader with manufacturing experience to join a growing group of food manufacturing brands.

Core Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, food safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Lead and mentor a team of Plant Managers supervisors, Director of Quality, and Director of Purchasing, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to drive employee engagement and development.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and capital expenditure for operations, balancing financial objectives with operational requirements.
• Develop and implement operational strategies and goals aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
• Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize productivity, minimize waste, and maintain high quality standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives, automation, and technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee and manage operations across multiple manufacturing sites to ensure efficient and effective production of food products.
• Collaborate with the executive team to contribute to strategic decision-making and provide insights on operational capabilities and limitations.

Candidate Profile:

• Data and metrics focused, experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, etc
• Primary experience is with small to medium size companies
• Multi-site food manufacturing experience (primarily internal, not contract manufacturing)

This position is remote with frequent travel to the quad-state area.
