User Experience Design Lead, Vice President

Job Responsibilities

• Create UX artifacts for web, mobile and omnichannel experiences (e.g., journey maps, conceptual models, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes) in close partnership with content designers
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and define customer needs and business success metrics
• Partner closely with researchers to facilitate research activities (user interviews, surveys, focus groups, usability studies, etc.) and leverage user insights and data to develop end-to-end design strategy for customer-centric digital experiences
• Lead workshops with cross-functional partners to identify customer problems and personas, facilitate journey mapping and storyboarding, and more
• Mentor, coach, and/or manage junior members of the payments design team.
• Share work across the organization through design reviews, product reviews and more
• Collaborate with product, tech, content, and research partners to create simple, elegant solutions to complex customer problems

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Strong presentation skills and experience sharing strategic rationale with partners, senior leaders, and stakeholders
• Advanced to Expert skill level designing and prototyping in Figma
• Ability to develop and sustain effective and cooperative working relationships with peers, managers, and other internal and external stakeholders
• 5-8 years of experience designing customer experiences and delivering products
• Experience leading a program of design work through full product development cycles in discovery, concepting, prototypes, specifications, and enablement using agile project management
• Can direct self and others in both planning and structuring the work, and executing on expected levels of quality

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Has shipped digital products or a launch-ready prototype
• Experience designing for financial services, banking, e-commerce, or payment-related spaces is a plus
• Developing understanding of Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices
