We are looking for an exceptional person to join our North America team as a Vice President in our Minneapolis or New York office locations or surrounding areas.


Vice Presidents maintain a clear focus on their own client portfolio while adopting a bigger picture view as they make the transition to Hotwire’s leadership team. Driving profitable growth is critical to success – growth in revenue, growth in your team, growth in your own skills and confidence. You will be committed to your personal development, actively seeking feedback to help you grow into this senior role and constantly learning new skills to stay at the forefront of comms. You will be seen as a senior strategic counsel by clients, who will trust and value your planning and creativity skills. You will focus on client retention, managing your accounts for profitability, winning business and supporting marketing and sales initiatives. You will be a leader, with all the responsibility that comes with that role, demonstrating maturity, sensitivity, commercial awareness and sound judgement, to be involved in strategic internal, client service and business development initiatives.


Daily, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Regularly and proactively communicate with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor progress on campaigns, identify obstacles, and provide strategic guidance to optimize for success.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with their goals and target audience.
  • Lead and manage a client portfolio between $1-1.5M in fees (excluding paid budget) made up of teams of comms and marketing professionals to execute cross-channel campaigns, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Ensure team members have the necessary resources and information to successfully implement marketing plans.
  • Oversee the budgeting and allocation of resources for marketing activities. Ensure resources are utilized effectively and efficiently to achieve maximum impact and ROI.
  • Pitch new business opportunities aligned with expertise.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, using data and insights to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts that drive results.
  • Participate in “Behaving Famously” activities to elevate your own, as well as Hotwire’s profile.
  • Demonstrate expertise and thought leadership in marketing strategies, leading internal trainings, building out future services, providing guidance and sharing industry insights with clients and internal teams.
  • Drive the strategy, planning and execution of lead-gen and digital marketing across several accounts. This includes website content to support traffic and conversion goals, editorial planning, content development, paid ads, paid and earned media, SEO/SEM, social media and community management, email marketing, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Share insights and knowledge with internal teams to enhance marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.



You’ll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing and communications, some of which were within an agency environment, and/or in running an in-house marketing group.
  • Experience managing website, email marketing systems, lead-gen campaigns, and social media channels.
  • Knowledge of various marketing channels, platforms and tools.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing, brand and digital strategies on behalf of a communications agency and/or marketing platform, and a strong drive for achieving results.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the following tools to extent that you can utilize, give direction or pull insights out of: Salesforce, Pardot, Wordpress, Google Ads, LinkedIn, SEMRush, GA4, Fathom, Ceros.
  • An understanding of the tech industry.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Compensation Range: $125,000 - $187,000


The range listed is just one component of Hotwire’s total compensation package for employees, which includes bonus opportunities and a variety of benefits mentioned above. Hotwire takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location, expected work to be performed, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. A potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
