Vice President Of Product

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and innovative Vice President of Product to lead our Children's Furniture department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing a diverse product line, from sourcing to sales, with a particular emphasis on children's products or home furniture. This role will involve working with various department heads, coordinating product development, sales presentations, marketing strategies, and financial management

Salary: $200,000 - $300,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Marketing department on product launch plans, including product photography, promotional videos, and other marketing materials.
• Liaise with major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, and Costco, developing and maintaining strong relationships to ensure product placement and sales growth.
• Supervise a team that includes a Sourcing Director, Quality Control Director, Merchandiser, Product Designers, Engineers, and certain overseas staff.
• Travel to visit retailers, trade shows, and factories as necessary to build relationships, gather market intelligence, and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with the Accounting department to manage the profit and loss for the department, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Lead the overall product strategy, product roadmap, and product design, including product development and product lifecycle management.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations in collaboration with the Sales team.
• Oversee sourcing initiatives to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement of materials.

Key Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of product development, sourcing, and marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in children's products or home furniture.
• Should have 10-15+ years of experience
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing a high-performing team.
• A proven track record of working with big box retailers such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, and Costco.
