Position Details: Full-time, exempt, remote position
Reports to: US Controller

Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000
JOB DESCRIPTION
Netstock is seeking an experienced accountant to support the US accounting functions including
accounts payable, cash application, month end close and journals, reconciliations, local tax related items,
and the overall order-to-cash process. The mission of this new role is to increase efficiency in North
America.

Essential Functions

• Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of the Company’s financial information
• Recommend opportunities for improvement
• Assist in the order-to-cash process by assisting in billing, payment posting, collections, and bank and balance Sheets account reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly journal entries and supporting schedules, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
• Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform the annual audit.
• Additional duties as assigned
• Responsible for the A/P function and maintenance and integration of our A/P software tool
• Assist US Controller in the month end close process
• Assist US Controller with sales & use tax, setting up new employee state registrations, and working with local tax authorities and legal advisors

Competencies & Qualifications

• Month end close experience and/or exposure
• Knowledge about accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures, as well as experience with US GAAP
• Sage Intacct experience a must (or similar ERP).
• Salesforce experience a plus (or similar CRM)
• Strong proficiency in excel
• Proven attention to detail and organization skills
• Experience working for a technology company environment is preferred.
• Skilled team player with interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and a track record of successfully working with cross-functional business leaders
• Strong organizational skills and good project management capabilities.
• Proven track record of managing various deliverables from multiple parties to meet challenging deadlines.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy.

Travel

Minimal travel required for the position (0-5%).

Required Education and Experience

• Salesforce or similar CRM experience a plus
• Sage Intacct or similar ERP a must have
• Minimum 3 years of related experience, SaaS or Tech industry a plus
• BA/BS in accounting or related field
