Our client, a global financial services and digital payments company is seeking a US Benefits Operations Specialist.
This position is a remote 6-month contract. You must be in the US, no H1B Visa status. Hourly rate $33.15, W2 + paid holidays through Talent Table.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities and tasks may change and shift as we operationalize and streamline.
- Assist with personal leaves, accommodations, outplacement services, worker compensation requests and assist with confirming return to work dates for all leaves as needed.
- Respond to Tier 2 employee queries and assist Scale Support with Tier 0 /1 queries as needed via JIRA Cloud ticketing system and support the Benefits team on all operational needs.
- Assist with benefits day-to-day processing in Workday for new hires, terminations, and qualified life events.
- Collaborate with Benefits Program Managers on special projects.
- Ensure company compliance with yearly audits, plan documents and all federal, state, and local laws.
- Partner with the Business Systems team to resolve benefits-related system issues, implement process improvements, and test system changes as needed.
- Assist with EOIs administration support and integration error reviews by partnering with Client’s insurance carriers and our HRIS tool, Workday.
- Support the planning of annual open enrollment and other benefits changes.
- Provide functional support to employees needing assistance with Benefits Employee Self Services (ESS) transactions.
- Assist with responding to government notices and ensure reporting requirements are met in a timely manner, including required notice distribution.
Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Familiar with JIRA Cloud or similar ticketing tracking system
- Basic knowledge of benefits federal, state, and local laws
- Passionate about developing efficient processes and driving results
- Advance experience with google docs and microsoft office a plus
- Experience using Workday HCM (Workday Benefits is a plus)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data
- 2-3+ years of previous Benefits experience
