About the Role

The Senior GL Accountant - International will be part of a team that is known for its' accuracy and diligence. The team is seeking someone who values those characteristics as well. This is an opportunity to join our Accounting Team as it grows along with the business.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with third-party accounting firms for all accounting activities for Menlo's various international subsidiaries including payroll, general accounting, payables, accruals, etc.
  • Ensure statutory filings are accurate and completed on-time in various jurisdictions
  • Reconcile/Review general ledger accounts on a monthly basis for international subsidiary accounts.
  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, which includes preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet, and income statement reconciliations and analysis.
  • Participate in various system and reporting enhancement projects.
  • Continually review accounting processes for improvements.
  • Assist with the balance sheet and income statement flux analysis
  • Ensure compliance with Company accounting policies and the application of generally accepted accounting principles.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with multi-sub/currency consolidation
  • Ability to be agile, self-sufficient, and ready to perform research and provide solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, CPA a plus
  • System experience with NetSuite, or similar ERP accounting system
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Menlo Security, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $124,000 - $$168,000.

In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is Menlo Security's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become Menlo Security shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
