Job Type

• Support Operations Directors in developing well-rounded, cross-functional, excellent school operations teams
• Identifies professional development opportunities for Operations Directors and promotes cross-training among Operations Directors throughout the network.
• Considers the impact of decisions, and facilitates resolutions that protect the organization’s interests and prioritizes students’ needs
• Collaborates with network,school leaders and district teams to ensure technology software compliance with Atlanta Public Schools
• Supports Media Aide Assistants at each school location with technology program management.
• All other duties as assigned
• Manages vendor relationships for current hardware, software and wireless providers with Operations team
• Conducts workshops, seminars, and training sessions with school staff to increase knowledge of technology.
• Identifies operational areas in need of improvement and creates large-scale enhancements to systems and processes to improve efficiency in key operational areas

• Prepares and presents information about the technology for internal and external communication
• Manages disbursement of school technology to staff and students
• Assists staff with Information Technology troubleshooting, as needed
• Managers district updates projects as needed
• Conducts network-wide laptop and desktop rollouts with Director of Operations
• Ensures that students and staff have access to needed technology and works with network technology team to plan technology related enhancements
• Identifies all hardware and software requirements for customers, as needed
• Assesses and updates technology inventory
• Provides Information Technology services and correspondence for the Kindezi Schools’ network
• Serves as the network Google Administrator and manages GoGuardian and other software
• Facilitates the selection, installation, and start-up of all educational technology systems and equipment
• Implements inventory management system across 3 school sites

• Be a United States citizen or otherwise have authorization to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree required (Instructional Technology, Library Media Sciences, or another technology related field)
• At least 3 years experience supporting business or school operations through IT services
• Have the ability to pass an Atlanta Public Schools background check
• Must have or be able to obtain a Georgia Professional Standards Commission-issued clearance certificate

• Compensation aligned with The Kindezi Schools’ salary schedule

• Starting salary: $74,000.00
