POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for creating job specifications, sourcing, and preliminary vetting of candidates, as well as facilitating all follow-up interview activities with the company. The Technical Recruitermustbeabletorecruit for a broad range of positions (functions and levels) within the organization, including Engineering, R&D, Quality and Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, IT and Administrative roles. This position is on a hybrid schedule, a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to source the best talent.
  • Perform full life cycle recruiting and sourcing for candidates which includes proactive outreach and relationship building to maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Review, analyze, and report on market pay and industry standards for various roles, including compensation analysis and benchmarking.
  • Manage projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Generate custom reports and data analysis as requested.
  • Liaise with external recruiting agencies to screen candidates and assist with filling technical roles.
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, knowledge, experience, and education in relation to position requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, department leaders, and HR team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results, and credibility.
  • Work with local colleges and universities to promote company and coordinate internship and new hire opportunities.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and managing expectations.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
  • Track and report metrics regarding recruiting activity through the ATS, while maintaining compliance with company policy and procedures, as well as federal and state laws.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary and requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Experience:
  • Practical experience and comfort working with data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated ability to conduct complex data analysis, industry reporting, and provide recommendations.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities in the applicant tracking system.
  • 5+years of experience in full-cycle recruiting of technical candidates in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience recruiting for technical skillset including roles tied to Research and Development, Software, System Engineers, and Electrical Engineers.
  • Knowledge and utilization of major ATS software as well as a variety of sourcing techniques, including social networking, internet, and other database searches.

Skills Required:
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions with thorough knowledge of the recruitment, screening, interviewing, and referral processes to assess candidates and provide meaningful feedback, selection and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying candidates, networking, assessing candidates, legal/compliance, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and candidate due diligence.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and exercise solid judgment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a professional demeanor and ability to portray a polished and tactful representation of the company.
Must be a U.S. Person.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen) due to clients under U.S. government contracts.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Potential for local travel for recruitment at job/career fairs.
COMPENSATION: 100k-110k/annually
