Position Description:
Reporting to the Head, Global Executive Recruiting, the Talent Acquisition Specialist I, Executive Recruiting will be responsible for the candidate care, vendor management, key stakeholder coordination and special strategical projects. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Executive Recruiting you will operationally manage the end-to-end Executive Search process, including ATS and CRM ownership.
In this role, you will act as the face of the Executive Search team to each candidate and respond timely to critical requests to ensure the process moves swiftly. You will collaborate with Executive Leadership and their teams to coordinate interviews. You will ensure a consistent experience for all hiring teams and candidates. You will be part of the strategic projects such as talent mapping, creating talent pools, benchmarking, end user experience, engagement architecture and capabilities building.
This role is a site based role in Foster City, CA. The successful candidate will be working at our headquarters 3 days a week during our core collaboration days with at least 2 days work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth interview process and consistent high-touch candidate experience
  • Participate in the creation of Executive Search journey mappings
  • Manage the end-to-end Executive recruitment operations process
  • Create and maintain process documentation, benchmark reports, mappings and presentations
  • Help with the development of EVP & Leadership brand specifically for Executive space on social media
  • Complex calendar and travel management
  • Maintain Executive Search dashboard and own recruitment update tracker using internal tools and databases such as Workday, Yello and LinkedIn
  • Ensure white glove service with all executive candidates while keeping key stakeholders informed
  • Manage multiple executive level stakeholders across various functions and geographies while balancing competing priorities in a highly matrixed organization
Qualifications:
  • Experience using Workday ATS highly preferred
  • Ability to develop strong relationships through establishing trust and credibility with colleagues and candidates
  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant Recruiting or Human Resources experience required, Vendor Management and Executive Search support experience highly preferred
  • BA/BS with 2+ years of work experience; experience in Life Sciences highly preferred
  • Advanced-level skills Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong program/project management skills
  • Strong process mindset and ability to drive continuous improvement

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

The salary range for this position is: $90,100.00 - $116,600.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
