What you'll do
  • You will report to a Sr. Systems Administration Manager, providing VMware technical and administration support to ensure that production servers, operating systems, and systems management components are functionally properly
  • Help improve hardware platforms and software systems for large-scale enterprise projects
  • Ability to be on-call 24x7 in an on-call rotation
  • Support hardware and operational systems with engineering and architecture staff in the analysis of current environments to design and implement a uniquely optimized virtual server platform solution for our business
  • Assist on project plans and documentation for hardware/software deployments and changes
  • Configure and support VMware infrastructure (vCenter, vRA, vRops, vRO, LogInsight and Tanzu container platform) running on Cisco UCS hardware platform
  • Work with a team that is a primary escalation point to resolve difficult problems and provide solutions involving our technologies
You should have

  • Experience with scripting languages to build scripts to support the infrastructure and integrate multiple infrastructure applications including: PowerShell, VMware command line, Rest API
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting server technology such as managing certificates, domain models, authentication, SSO, DHCP, DNS, LDAP
  • Proficiency in English in a business environment
  • 3+ Years of experience in a primary support role managing a large VMware environment consisting of the following: ESX and vCenter v6 or later; vRA and vRO; LogInsight; VMware Tanzu; and, hardware support

Position Pay Range:
This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$63,665.22-$101,864.56
This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
