Position Mission

The Systems Admin will be responsible for level two systems administration support for Parasol’s clients. They will support implementation of project task work as determined by each client’s strategic project roadmap. The SysAdmin will also be responsible for onsite technical support as determined by client needs. The SysAdmin's focus will be primarily on systems and server related project work as well as tickets escalated from the service desk.

Responsibilities

  • Onsite support of hardware and software.
  • Detailed documentation within service tickets on issue steps and resolution.
  • Level 1 and 2 support for client issues.
  • System support for servers, virtualization and email environments.
  • Project implementation task work.
  • Excellent customer service on the phone, via email and in person.
  • In depth problem solving for servers and systems.

Requirements

  • At least five years’ experience working with systems support, configuration and management.
  • At least five years of systems administration experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
  • Experience with multiple enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft Server, Windows Operating Systems, file shares, printers and copiers, phone systems, Exchange, basic network support, desktop hardware support.
  • Healthcare experience preferred; long-term healthcare support experience is a plus.
