Systems Security Administrator
We’re looking for a Systems Security Administrator with extensive IT experience in managing security programs for products, tools, or programs, particularly as relates to the integration of information systems and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software. Must be well versed in the interpretation, implementation, monitoring and enforcement of enterprise-level security baselines within assigned systems. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring records are maintained, security and baseline updates are promulgated, and that all baseline configurations are continuously monitored and enforced for compliance. This position requires a candidate with management experience, who can translate larger program goals into well designed IT plans and schedules, communicate clearly with actionable paths to the immediate team, and who can relentlessly communicate across teams and with senior leaders to ensure program milestones are achieved. Experience with an enterprise level device compliance program is highly-desired, as well as experience with printer security and application server management.
In this role, you’ll engage with clients to collect, understand, and define their IT requirements, analyze and translate those requirements into project plans and milestones, and create executive level briefings that quantify and articulate the work being accomplished. You’ll advise and guide a high-performing IT team on the management of their overall portfolio against a backdrop of competing priorities and limited resources. You will write executive leadership-level communications. Join us as we deliver IT and Cybersecurity solutions for the better.
Requirements:
You Have:
- 5+ years experience supporting enterprise-level projects and programs in a constantly evolving IT/cybersecurity environment utilizing project management life cycle methodology, including risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to implement, monitor and enforce enterprise security baseline configurations on a large scale
- Knowledge and experience in application server administration
- Ability to clearly document complicated processes and technical knowledge
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Math, or technical equivalent with 5 years of professional experience or a total of 13 in lieu of education
- Experience successfully evaluating new applications, version upgrades, and firmware changes, as appropriate for implementation within the enterprise, considering enterprise needs, risk evaluation and mitigation, and cost analysis
- Ability to communicate with key stakeholders, process owners, and customers to manage expectations, eliminate gaps, and ensure success, including gathering and analyzing large data sets into executive level briefings and reports using Microsoft Office products
Nice to Have:
- Experience with enterprise printer security management highly desired
- Ability to identify, gather and analyze appropriate metrics to communicate system status and challenges
- Experience with the Veteran’s Affairs technical environment a plus
- Experience with change management and QA/QC processes
- Preferred certifications: PMP, CAPM, ITIL, Security+, Network+
Clearance: Applicants selected may be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.
Compensation:· $56,000 + year-end bonus up to $5,600 (10%)
Benefits Offered:· Medical, dental, and vision, 401(k), 3 weeks of PTO, Legal assistance, Pet insurance, Tuition reimbursement, & More!!
