What You’ll Do

• Collaborate across the organization including FP&A, Sales, Supply Chain and Data Analytics
• Partner with current revenue team to review aged balances in Deferred Revenue/Unbilled AR, summarize and communicate to department lead on actions and financial impacts
• Perform revenue monthly close duties including journal entry preparation, GL analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Support audit preparation and support requests (Corporate, Statutory levels)
• Proactively communicate with all stakeholders to identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Identify and implement process improvements including documentation of processes and flowcharts
• Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Recent experience with high-growth, multinational, public companies, M&A-oriented businesses or public accounting
• Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Comprehensive understanding of business operations and processes in a manufacturing and SaaS environment, inclusive of month-end accounting processes (journal entries, reconciliations, etc.)
• Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP Revenue Standards (primarily ASC 606)
• Prior experience supporting month-end close processes, particularly within revenue, deferred revenue and/or unbilled AR
• Experience and passion for financial systems and tools, including large ERP (Oracle or SAP) and reporting systems

Additional Qualifications

• Proven self-starter that can operate with limited guidance to get projects done in an excellent manner
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite or product s
• Energetic, results, deadline-driven and detail-oriented individual with strong communication and follow-up skills
• A proven ability to be decisive, enable issue resolution and deliver on commitments and deadlines
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, while project managing and prioritizing workload with manager
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple functional and business groups
• Demonstrated creativity and flexibility in problem solving and project collaboration
