Senior Accountant | Staff Accountant - Remote

Role: Corporate Accountant | Senior Accountant | Staff Accountant - Remote

Position Overview:

• Ad Hoc special projects
• Assist with month end close
• Preparing financial statements and related monthly financial reporting
• Booking journal entries (JEs)
• Account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Full cycle general ledger accounting (cash, prepaids, fixed assets, AR, AP, accruals, etc.)
• Consolidation accounting and intercompany eliminations

Background Profile:

• Advanced degrees are a plus (MBA, MAcc, MSA, MA)
• Process improvement oriented with the ability to balance multiple projects
• Committed to personal and professional growth and development and helping others
• Seeking someone that considers themselves to be a life-long learner and has a high degree of intellectual curiosity in trying to understand how and why things work
• Exposure to larger ERP (SAP, Oracle, D365 / Microsoft Dynamics 365, Great Plains) experience is preferred
• BA degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-7 years of public accounting or corporate general ledger accounting experience
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is a preferred
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
