Revenue Accounting Manager Remote

Finance & Accounting - Accounting Manager - FULL Remote anywhere in the US

Responsible for managing the revenue accounting function for certain business/product lines. Ensures accounting month-end close deliverables are completed accurately and timely. Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization. Assess and implement proper revenue recognition process for new products and business initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. CPA highly preferred and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area with 4+ years of supervisory experience. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.

MUST HAVE:

• 7+ years experience in Accounting (month-end close, externally reporting financials etc.)
• Strong understanding of internal controls for financial supporting SOX compliance process
• Excellent communication skills, ability to address complex concepts and issues, present analysis & financial results & effectively collaborate.
• Full P&Ls
• Highly organized & properly plan , focus & prioritize (not just their own work but their team's)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years supervisory experience in accounting
• Strong process improvement experience
• Revenue Accounting experience (to understand ASC606/USGAAP)
• Enterprise project implementation experience (participated in new and/or existing product implementations)

• CPA is a plus
• Project management skills or knowledge of project management
• Billing
• Experience with Workday Financial and/or Zuora Billing is a plus.
