  • Ability to combine technical abilities, business acumen and U.S. GAAP knowledge to develop and deliver solutions for business partners and senior management.
  • The successful candidate will be action-oriented with a blend of both technical and operational accounting experience related to revenue recognition and will seek to build strong relationships with and deliver superior service to all key stakeholders.


The Manager of Revenue Accounting is responsible for managing the close process for revenue and Gross-to-Net (GTN). This includes working directly with various stakeholders on understanding contracts and GTN calculations, performing month-end close tasks for accounts receivables, product revenue, and gross-to-net accruals, evaluating and analyzing revenue trends, and managing the day-to-day oversight of our 3PL’s Order-to-Cash (OTC) activities.


In addition, this role may provide support to the Commercial organization for financial budgeting, reporting & analysis. This position reports to the Director of FP&A and Revenue Accounting and supports the VP of Finance and Executive Director of Accounting.


Job Responsibilities


  • Serve as key point of contact for IntegriChain and 3PL. Work with third party service providers to ensure all product revenue, including GTN related data and calculations, is appropriately captured.
  • Work closely with various Commercial groups (i.e., Market Access, Insights, Analytics, & Forecasting, and Pricing & Contract Administration) to understand channels of business, pricing arrangements, profitability by channel, and performance against plan, including but not limited to price/volume, wholesaler inventories, returns, in-transit shipments, Medicaid, and other data, to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue and related accruals.
  • Prepare monthly revenue and GTN journal entries and account reconciliations. Reconcile and validate OTC activities performed by 3PL.
  • Work closely with internal/external auditors to provide requested accounting documentation.

  • Assist in presentations to management, understand variances to forecast, and perform other ad hoc analysis, as needed. Analyze, explain, and meaningfully summarize GTN variances.
  • Perform accurate and timely accounting and analyses of all sales discounts, rebates, chargebacks, returns and allowances included in the calculation of GTN. Validate GTN accruals, calculations and metrics prepared by IntegriChain.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by ITI senior management, complete all company and job-related training as assigned within the required timelines.
  • Responsible for SOX compliance and documentation of OTC and GTN controls around revenue and receivables.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition and early identification of potential risks. Investigate and resolve issues in the OTC and GTN functions.


Job Requirements


  • Roll up the sleeves attitude and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. MBA and/or CPA certification preferred, not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel working with pivot tables, v-lookups, and other functions.
  • Experience with Life Sciences industry and Pharmaceutical Revenue and Gross-To-Net accounting experience/knowledge preferred.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with individuals across all levels.
  • Minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible accounting/finance and reporting experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with Oracle is preferred; SAP or equivalent is acceptable.
  • Must have excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.

Manager, Revenue Accounting Base Salary range $100K - $130K
