Sr. Qa Engineer (Application Testing)

The Senior QA Engineer is a key member of Technology Services Group, responsible for delivering innovative SaaS technology solutions by analyzing business needs and applying analytical methods to enable data-driven decisions. The Senior QA Engineer requires the competencies of a Sr. QA Engineer in understanding the business requirements and that the developed products meet the design specifications, a Technical QA engineer in creating the test strategy by understanding how technology has been used to address the business use cases, a Automation QA Engineer to understand & build test automation framework & scripts and a Senior QA Engineer to effectively manage a team. The Senior QA Engineer will work on a range of data and technology projects that focus on SAP Success Factors systems and data integrations processes. The Senior QA Engineer will also work on highly visible roadmap programs and data integration projects. The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with business analysts, software developers, solution architects, testers and DevOps engineers.
A successful Senior QA Engineer must be both a leader who can work with vendor resources, stakeholders and work with agile teams; and an individual contributor who can develop test strategy, test cases, test automation, requirements traceability matrices and status reports. On any day, the candidate could be doing any or all of the following:
Analyze requirements, develop a test strategy and test plan, build and execute manual and automated test cases, track defects and report results.
Develop an understanding of the Salesforce software to ensure that the QA/Testing solutions are consistent with long-term business and application directions. Maintain knowledge of current QA/Testing methodologies and approaches to better provide testing solutions.
Perform functional, smoke, integrations, data migration and regression testing.
Ensure that business requirements are mapped to the functional specifications and have sufficient test coverage
Liaise with the development team and key business users in Agile development projects - attending scrum review meetings and develop targeted test plans and cases.
Helping define and roll out improvements to testing and quality processes across
Work towards more efficient ways of testing using the best tools/methodologies.
Oversee a small team of testers to guide on best practices for QA, track progress for automated and manual testing.
Defect management by conducting Defect triages for troubleshooting and investigating nonconformance and address the issues with accuracy with various teams until closure.
Develop stakeholder communications, progress reports, and presentations.
Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, software engineers, testers, project managers, and architects.
Develop test automation scripts and framework to automate repetitive tasks and minimize manual testing.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $123,800.00 to $179,600.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
