SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Senior Allocation Manager is responsible for overseeing all allocations for Boutiques, outlet stores in the US and Canada, and Wholesale. Collaborating closely with the merchandise planning team, buying team, and business leads, the Senior Allocation Manager develops allocation strategies, manages stock movements, and ensures optimal inventory management between warehouses and the ECOM business. The role focuses on maximizing sales and sell-through by accurately distributing inventory across stores.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Work closely with the Buying team to align inventory purchasing at the beginning of each season with allocation requirements.
- Partner with the head of the outlet business to optimize stock levels and assortment in outlet stores.
- Create and maintain comprehensive allocation reports, including Ship to store summaries, build re-caps, store capacity, in-bound tracker, high-turn styles, and core replenishment MOH.
- Collaboration with the Director of Planning and business leads to ensure the appropriate stock levels are allocated to all stores, in line with budget and forecasted sales.
- Foster cross-functional partnerships with Buying, Finance, Business, and Visual Merchandising teams to enhance collaboration and decision-making.
- Develop key allocation strategies and approaches to drive sell-through and increase top-side sales on a seasonal basis.
- Create in-season consolidations between markets and stores to maximize sales opportunities.
- Supervise a team of 2 direct reports, providing support and guidance in their allocation tasks while actively engaging in daily allocation activities.

- Initiative: Demonstrates a proactive approach to achieving goals and strives for exceptional performance. Self-driven with the ability to work effectively without close supervision.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation creation.
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills, highly detail-oriented, and well-organized.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Allocation, with exposure to both large and small retail companies.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
