TeleVox is looking to hire a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team.
Essential Duties:
- Act as project lead for public relations and blog activity. Collaborate with internal team and agency to drive effective media coverage with key media outlets. Understand key word and effective SEO strategies. Coordinate creation of press releases and blog posts. Coordinate interviews for thought leadership interviews with internal constituents.
- Collaborate with internal marketing staff regarding marketing campaigns and programs.
- Support the planning, design, and production of a variety of marketing communications materials, presentations, and projects, while ensuring quality and consistency with company objectives and within brand guidelines.
- In cooperation with graphic designer, responsible for some sales and product collateral creation, communication of availability and maintaining on repository.
- Write, edit, revise, and proofread copy for web, social media posts, and other programs to ensure correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation, formatting, and tone consistency. Utilize sound SEO practices.
- Provide timely correspondence to internal/external clients regarding follow-up questions and promotional material status.
- Prepare and coordinate social media posts and monitor (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) Suggest improvements to increase engagement both inside and outside the company and utilize social in marketing programs. Monitor competitive activity in this area.
- Provide support in writing and editing basic communications (e.g., organizing electronically stored marketing data, preparing promotional materials, presentations, providing correspondence for internal/external clients, and updating basic online website content ensuring adherence to corporate and departmental policies and procedures)
- Ensure the accuracy of marketing contact lists and effectively update as necessary the client relationship management marketing platform (Hubspot.)
- Manage all advertisement and media placement activities with help of agency. Work with internal and external resources to create campaigns, advertising materials and monitor for effectiveness. Coordinate trafficking of all materials and attend project status meetings.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
Experience:
- Experience in healthcare IT, software or medical device industry are highly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Intermediate knowledge of social media marketing platforms, public relations and blog best practices.
- Excellent writing and communication skills; applicable writing samples will be requested for submission.
- 2+ years of increasingly responsible experience in marketing, journalism, public relations or marketing communications required.
- Basic knowledge of SEO preferred.
