Marketing Coordinator Jobs

Eldon C. Stutsman, Inc. is located in Hills, Iowa - a short 10-minute drive south of Iowa City. We are hiring for a detail oriented and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator.
Position Overview
To serve for success by planning, organizing, and executing Stutsman marketing plans and special projects. Specifically, lead feed department marketing efforts, including but not limited to coordinating feed ingredient promotions, managing the monthly feed publication and email campaigns, creating advertising plans, and assisting in feed event planning.

Understands overall company goals, division priorities, and product seasonality to help develop and execute creative marketing, advertising, and communication campaigns. Can keep multiple projects, details, and deadlines on task simultaneously.

Effectively and efficiently manages time to execute multiple projects and plans according to priority to meet strict deadlines. Must be able to easily switch focus when directions and priorities shift.
Teamwork, Relationship Building & Communication
Can share ideas clearly and concisely to the appropriate target audience. Keeps internal and external project stakeholders updated on campaign or project progress. Collaborates with sales, purchasing, and other Stutsman team members along with vendors to execute marketing initiatives.

Identifies marketing opportunities and meets them with innovative approaches and ideas. Can tackle problems/challenges with creativity and resourcefulness. Is driven to continuously find new ways to serve customers and fellow employees. Demonstrates persistence in overcoming obstacles.

Actively acquires new marketing skills, and product knowledge, while staying current on shifting industry trends. Constantly looks for ways to set the bar higher in all aspects of the position.

Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and quality on all projects and marketing initiatives. Catches any errors before campaign launch or materials are printed/posted.
Analytical
Monitors marketing and advertising campaign performance, converts data into meaningful analysis/actionable plans, and identifies trends to help structure future campaigns. Continuously optimizes marketing efforts based off results.
Technical Skills

• Strong writing skills to create compelling and creative copy
• Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or Audition.
• Email marketing experience
• Understanding of design fundamentals and/or design experience preferred but not required
• Basic photography and videography skills not required, but desired

Job Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigations
• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business, Agricultural Communications, Marketing, Business or a similar field.
• Experience and/or background in the agriculture industry preferred
• Other duties as assigned
• B2B marketing experience preferred
• 3 years of marketing and communications experience preferred
• Occasional duties outside of traditional work hours
• Valid driver's license
